Turkey Tenders with Hot Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce

Ingredients

Turkey Tenders

  • 1 lb. turkey breast or fillets
  • 2 tbsp yellow mustard
  • ¾ cup panko bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp each salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder
  • ¼ tsp cayenne

Dipping Sauce

  • 2 tbsp each honey, honey Dijon and mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp cider vinegar
  • ¼ tsp cayenne



Method

  1. Cut turkey into approximately 1” or 2cm chunks and put into a large zip-top bag.
  2. Add yellow mustard to the bag. Close the top and mix to coat the turkey.
  3. In a small bowl whisk together panko and seasonings.
  4. Add panko mixture to the bag and mix to coat turkey.
  5. Preheat airfryer to 200°C. Put turkey tenders into airfryer (only one layer). Spray with canola oil for a crispier crust (optional).
  6. Fry for 10-12 minutes, or until an internal temperature of 165°F is reached. Turn halfway through cooking time.
  7. While turkey is cooking whisk together the ingredients for the dipping sauce.
  8. When done cooking, enjoy turkey bites with dip.

Tips

To make in the oven, heat oven to 400°F and bake turkey bites on a sheet pan for approximately 15-18 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165° F. Halfway through cooking, turn turkey bites.
