- 1 ½ lb (750 g) Beef Grilling Steak (tenderloin, top sirloin, strip loin or rib steak)
- 1 tsp (5 mL) salt
- ½ tsp (2.5 mL) ground pepper
- 1 tsp (5 mL) garlic dried flakes
- 1 tsp (5 mL) onion powder
- ½ tsp (2.5 mL) hot paprika
- 1 tsp (5 mL) dried basil
- ½ tsp (2.5 mL) dried thyme
Method
- In a small bowl, mix salt, pepper, garlic, onion powder, paprika, basil and thyme. Rub spices on both sides of the steak and allow to marinade while preparing sides.
- Grill meat for 2-3 min on each side for a medium rare steak or cook until desired doneness.
- Serve with Kale Caesar Salad & Smashed Potatoes
