Grilled Steak with Kale Caesar Salad and Smashed Potatoes

Ingredients
1 ½ lb (750 g) Beef Grilling Steak (tenderloin, top sirloin, strip loin or rib steak)
1 tsp (5 mL) salt
½ tsp (2.5 mL) ground pepper
1 tsp (5 mL) garlic dried flakes
1 tsp (5 mL) onion powder
½ tsp (2.5 mL) hot paprika
1 tsp (5 mL) dried basil
½ tsp (2.5 mL) dried thyme
Method
In a small bowl, mix salt, pepper, garlic, onion powder, paprika, basil and thyme. Rub spices on both sides of the steak and allow to marinade while preparing sides.
Grill meat for 2-3 min on each side for a medium rare steak or cook until desired doneness.
