Tender, juicy and coated in a sweet and spicy glaze these air fryer ribs are perfect for game day and the hot honey sauce will keep your guests coming back for more!
Ingredients
- 2 racks pork back ribs
- 1 Tbsp (15 mL) canola oil
- 2 tsp (10 mL) paprika
- 1 tsp (5 mL) EACH garlic powder and onion powder
- ½ tsp (2 mL) ancho chili powder (optional)
- ¼ tsp (1 mL EACH) salt and ground black pepper
- 2 Tbsp (30 mL) butter, melted
- ½ cup (125 mL) Buffalo wing sauce
- ½ cup (125 mL) BeeMaid Honey
Method
Directions:
- Lift and peel membrane from the back of each rack of ribs.
- With sharp knife, slice ribs into single rib servings.
- Pat ribs with paper towels to remove excess moisture. Place ribs in large bowl; set aside.
- In small bowl, combine paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, chilli powder, salt and pepper; set aside.
- In a glass measuring cup, thoroughly combine butter, wing sauce and honey; set aside.
- Drizzle ribs with oil and sprinkle with seasoning; turn or toss to coat.
- If required, preheat air fryer to 300°F according to manufacturer’s instructions.
- Arrange ribs in air fryer basket in a single layer with space in between for air circulation. Do not overlap or stack.
- Cook ribs for about 30 minutes*; use tongs to turn halfway through the cooking time.
- Remove ribs from air fryer and place in large bowl. Repeat with remaining ribs.
- Drizzle cooked ribs with about half of the sauce; turn or toss to coat.
- Place sauced ribs, in batches, back into air fryer. Air fry for an additional 4-5 minutes at 350°F, turning once.
- Place ribs on a platter and drizzle with remaining sauce; serve immediately.
Tips
*Cooking time may need to be adjusted depending on the meatiness of the ribs.
