Honey almond butter will be your new favourite compound butter. Made with local BeeMaid Honey, it’s delicious on bread and great on a butter board.
Ingredients
- 1 cup (250 mL) unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) BeeMaid Honey
- 1 Tbsp (15 mL) brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp (1 mL) almond extract
Method
- In a medium sized mixing bowl, beat the butter, honey, brown sugar and almond extract until light and fluffy.
Tips
Store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days in a sealed airtight container or freeze. Did you know you can freeze butter? Just add an extra layer of foil – unsalted butter will keep for 3 months and salted butter for a year.
