Honey Almond Butter

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (250 mL) unsalted butter, softened 
  • 1/4 cup (60 mL) BeeMaid Honey 
  • 1 Tbsp (15 mL) brown sugar 
  • 1/4 tsp (1 mL) almond extract 

Method

  1. In a medium sized mixing bowl, beat the butter, honey, brown sugar and almond extract until light and fluffy. 

Tips

Store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days in a sealed airtight container or freeze. Did you know you can freeze butter? Just add an extra layer of foil – unsalted butter will keep for 3 months and salted butter for a year.
