There are so many labels on food packaging today it’s easy to become overwhelmed. What does it all mean? When you purchase chicken with the “Raised by a Canadian Farmer” logo, it means that a family like Jeremy & Cheryl’s raised the chicken. The Froeses farm with their four kids in southeastern Manitoba. They follow national food safety and animal care protocols that are science-based. The care and well-being of chickens raised under these protocols are monitored and verified by a veterinarian, and regulated by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency. The “Raised by a Canadian Farmer” logo means your food is safe. Jeremy & Cheryl are teaching their kids to farm under these principals. They take great pride in what they do and they have a passion for sharing safe food with their family and friends.
