- 1 cup (250 mL) white beans (use canned or cooked navy, great northern or cannellini beans)
- ¼ (50 mL) cup water

- Combine beans and water in blender or food processor and purée until smooth, scraping sides as needed. Use 1 cup (250 mL) of beans with ¼ cup (50 mL) water.
- Add to Blueberry Bean Lemon Loaf or freeze extras to thicken soups or add to mashed potatoes.
