- 2 large flatbread crusts, or 4 small flatbreads or Naan breads
- 3/4 cup (180 ml) BBQ sauce, divided
- 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
- ½ cup (125 ml) crispy bacon bits
- 2 jalapenos, seeded and finely minced (optional)
- 1 cup (250 ml) grated mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup (250 ml) smoked or plain gouda cheese
- ½ red onion, thinly sliced
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
Method
- Preheat oven to 425°F.
- Arrange flatbreads on baking sheets.
- Spread a couple of tablespoons of BBQ sauce on each flatbread.
- Toss chicken with remaining BBQ sauce. Spread chicken mixture evenly on top of each flatbread. Top with bacon and jalapenos.
- Evenly distribute cheeses and then red onion.
- Bake flatbreads for 10-12 minutes, or until cheese is melted and crust is crisp on edges. Top with green onions.
