Farm Expansion Creates Job for Many in Small Manitoba Town

Henrik grew up on a mix grain and hog farm in Denmark. He came to Manitoba in 2006 to work at a hog barn and he fell in love with the rolling hills and lakes of the Parkland region. Eventually he was able to purchase the business and is now the sole owner/operator, running this barns and feed mill with help from his partner Janine and 35 employees. In 2019 he made significant upgrades and expanded the barns which created significant spin off benefit to local businesses. Henrik credits a welcoming and open-minded community and Roblin’s close proximity to feed grains and pork processing facilities for the success of his business.
