- 1 Granny’s Seasoned Boneless Turkey Breast, thawed
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) flour
- 1/2 tsp (2.5 mL) sea salt
- 2 cup (500 mL) Panko crumbs
- 2 tbsp (30 mL) olive oil
- 3 tbsp (45 mL) Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1/2 tsp (2.5 mL) paprika
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 5 slices mozzarella chesse
Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut turkey breast into fillets.
- In a bowl, mix flour and salt.
- Mix panko crumbs with olive oil, parmesan and paprika in a separate bowl.
- Place eggs in a third bowl.
- Dredge one turkey fillet at a time in flour mixture, then dip in egg, and roll them in the panko mixture until they are well coated.
- Place breaded turkey fillets flat on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes.
- Flip each fillet and continue to cook for 10 minutes.
- Generously cover each fillet in marinara sauce and place a slice of mozzarella cheese on top.
- Serve fillets on toasted garlic buns and cover with extra marinara sauce, if desired.
