Through Every Season

Doug has farmed for 41 years. This March, a stroke changed everything, but with his wife Laurie by his side and a lot of determination, he’s back on his feet and excited to jump back into the combine. Navigating this challenge brought Doug and Laurie closer, and led to their son taking on a larger role on the farm. Doug’s closing advice: if you’re over 60, get a blood pressure machine and check in with yourself now and then.
