Fresh Mushroom Salsa

| Servings: 4 cups

An easy salsa to make any time of year since fresh manitoba mushrooms are available all year round.

Ingredients

  • 2 cup (500 mL) chopped fresh white or crimini mushrooms
  • 2 (2) tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 1 (1) onion, finely chopped
  • 1 (1) clove garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp (25 mL) EACH chopped red pepper and green pepper
  • 2 (2) jalapeno peppers, seeded, chopped
  • 1/3 cup (75 mL) chopped fresh cilantro

Directions

  1. In glass bowl combine all ingredients. Mix well. Refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving.
