An easy salsa to make any time of year since fresh manitoba mushrooms are available all year round.
- 2 cup (500 mL) chopped fresh white or crimini mushrooms
- 2 (2) tomatoes, finely chopped
- 1 (1) onion, finely chopped
- 1 (1) clove garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp (25 mL) EACH chopped red pepper and green pepper
- 2 (2) jalapeno peppers, seeded, chopped
- 1/3 cup (75 mL) chopped fresh cilantro
- In glass bowl combine all ingredients. Mix well. Refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving.
