Local Dairy Farms are Family Farms

Jeremy and Jennifer are new entrant dairy farmers from south eastern Manitoba. They are one of 242 dairy farms in Manitoba and they have been farming for 11 years. Like all dairy farms in Manitoba, it’s a family operation. Jeremy and Jennifer’s four boys work along side their mom and dad on the farm every day. They operate a free-stall barn, which means the cows have access to roam between their beds and the automatic milking system whenever they please. Dairy Farmers in Canada adhere to some of the strictest milk quality and animal welfare standards in the world. Farmers like Jeremy are proud to be a part of a food story that includes nutritious ingredients grown by local farmers.
