Ingredients
Ingredients
- 1 lb (500 g) ground turkey
- 1 1/2 cups (375 mL) blueberries
- 1/2 tsp (2 mL) ground sage
- 1/2 tsp (2 mL) fresh ground black pepper
- 2 shallots, finely chopped OR 1/4 onion
- 1 tsp (5 mL) minced garlic
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) breadcrumbs
- 1 Tbsp (15 mL) canola oil
Method
- In bowl, combine all ingredients except for canola oil.
- Mix together well and form 8 thin patties.
- In a non-stick skillet over medium heat, heat canola oil.
- Add patties to pan and cook for 2-3 minutes each side until ground turkey is cooked through.
