Facebook0Twitter0Pinterest0 Ingredients 1 Tbsp (15 mL) butter 1/2 lb (250 g) mixed fresh mushrooms (cremini, shiitake and oyster), sliced 1 small onion, finely chopped 1 clove garlic, minced 1 cup (250 mL) chicken broth 1 Tbsp (15 mL) fresh chopped basil or 1 tsp (5 mL) dried) Freshly ground pepper Few dashes Tabasco sauce 4 oz (125 g) light cream cheese, cubed 1/2 lb (250 g) Rede-Made Noodles, cooked, drained Parmesan cheese Chopped fresh parsley Directions In frypan melt butter over medium heat. Saute mushrooms and onions until soft about 5-7 minutes. Add garlic. Cook 2 minutes. Add chicken broth, basil, pepper and Tabasco sauce. Bring to boil. Reduce heat. Cover. Simmer 20 minutes. Add cream cheese. Simmer until cheese is melted. Stir occasionally. Add more water or chicken broth to thin mixture, if necessary. Toss with linguine or wide noodles. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and parsley. Serve immediately.
